Snow Days

I hope everyone enjoys the snow day(s)!
Just wanted to let you know that your children will be given time in class when we return to school to complete their science contracts. The weathering and erosion poster will be due the second day back to school so spending some snow time on it might be a good use of that "free" time. I have attached the requirements for the poster for those whose children have not yet completed it.
A math test is scheduled for Friday. This test will cover basic multiplication facts, 2-digit x 1-digit, 2-digit x 2-digit and 3-digit x 2-digit multiplication problems using old-school or lattice, word problems, multiples and factors, patterns and the properties of multiplication. Students were given a review sheet of the properties. • Which is a multiple of both 4 and 5?

• If Ashley can type 40 words per minute, how many words can she type in 5 minutes?

Biography literature projects are due tomorrow. We are also planning a reward party tomorrow afternoon for those students who have completed all work and behaved well this quarter.
